You put me in the babbling brook
you the bubbles, me a paper boat.
We swirled as you dove deep
through water's walls, catching glints
of fish scales and beetle wings.
Later we joined the rapids
and flew the spray;
I was devoured,
thunder sucked to the bottom
kissing mud turned to bedrock.
In my dissolving I became an miracle.
Transformation allowed me join you
as the roaming, swishing
deep blue sea.
